Calcination is a process of intensely heating (as with inorganic materials) to a high temperature, but without fusion, in order to drive off volatile matter, or to effect changes (as oxidation or pulverization) usually in an open crucible. What remains is a fine dry powder.

A good time to: think things through; it should be easier to consider serious subjects without having to crank up your motivation, perhaps initiate work on your tax returns or other legal forms.

Challenges: feeling feisty; keep an eye on your calm-o-meter.

The Alchemist’s Beginnings

The Sacred Circle Shaman
