Moon transitions from quiet Pisces to fierce Aries today 1-31-2017
The first half of the day is relatively low key with the Pisces Moon squaring Saturn in Sagittarius before dawn and then conjoining sweet Venus during the morning before going void-of-course. The transition between the Pisces Moon and the Aries Moon is always noticeable but this time it is accentuated because the Moon-Venus conjunction is the last aspect she makes in Pisces and the first aspect in Aries will be a conjunction with Mars. Let’s talk squares
There are several major aspects, or angles, that astrologers look at in a chart. One of them is called a square. A square is formed when the pieces are at a 90 degree angle with each other. I use a 7 degree orb for a square, so that means 90 degrees plus or minus 7.
Squares are dynamic aspects and can provide insight into lessons, talents and challenges in our lives. Usually squares are described as a source of tension or conflict. Today carries on with the same dreamy energy yesterday had. There may be some tension with mental communication and the collective, but overall it’s a great day for healing and connecting deeply with those that you love. If you struggle with the big picture and your future security at all, don’t worry. Let yourself get in touch with what it is your soul needs from you and then get down to business. Later this afternoon, the energy will shift and be much more action oriented, so it’ll be a great time to put some of your intentions into action. Watch out for over asserting yourself though.
